We imported our first container load of smooth-faced, internal lockrod doors (from Germany) for a custom project. These doors are rated to withstand 50,000#s of pressure, 25tons! They are pricey but what this end-user needs. Our EU supplier for these doors also have a subsidiary that builds a 12,000#-rated door – and also with the lockrods positioned inside the door panels themselves. These are more affordable and still rated for more stress than doors in the US need to withstand. We are not explaining anymore here. One picture is all we will share. Note too: these doors do not have internal components that freeze in winter or are difficult to open when the truck is parked at an angle. The keepers remain reliable at al times.
