A slideout tailgate is an amazing and somewhat secret tool for pro movers to maximize loads. Pricey, but these are expensive to fabricate since we now build these using stainless tubes to resist rust. However, like your Allvan body – the slider tailgate is a return-centric investment. Use it a few times instead of needing to make a second trip, and it pays for itself. Allvan slider tailgates live ‘inside’ your rear structure and you simply flip a latch and slide out as needed. Put down something (plywood to size) to act as a base and load accordingly. Our rear lighting harness is retractable as well. See the outside logistical tie-off points we add to the rear corner posts too. Old school cool.

Need a few extra feet of load space off the backend? Or a place to load something nasty, that should not touch the rest of your inside load? This is your solution. Important to note: Allvan has no liability written/inferred per anything loaded and moved on slider tailgates. None means zero. You are 100% responsible for all loads and for knowing and abiding by all Fed + State DOT mandates. Use sparingly; load the slideout lightly; properly mark the extended load with flags or lights or something that keeps you legal and safe. And of course, ALWAYS move any and all loads safely.
